How GRTforms features work

Short owner guides for features that are live on grtforms.com. Comparing GRTforms with another builder?

• Hidden fields and per-field CSSPrefill UTM and other values respondents never see. Target each field with a CSS ID or class — wrappers already include grt-field and grt-field--{type}. Hide the public title, description, or the whole header.
• Select submissions to export or deleteCheck rows, select the page, or select every match — the selection stays as you page. Export only those rows to Excel, CSV, or PDF, or delete them after a confirm. With nothing selected, export follows your current filters. Exports are logged.
• IP blocks and abuse alertsBlock IPv4, IPv6, or CIDR ranges (including IPv6 /64) per form or across your account. Abuse detection watches spikes, repeat IPs, duplicate payloads, and honeypot hits, then sends one alert and a 30-minute digest with actions to block, turn on CAPTCHA, pause, or ignore.
• Form access controlsPause a form, cap how many real entries it accepts, schedule open and close times, or require a password. Visitors see a closed or unlock page; submit is blocked on the server.
• Cloudflare Turnstile CAPTCHATurnstile on sign-up, sign-in, and public forms. Require it on any form. Verification runs on the server, shows a clear error instead of hanging, and resets so people can try again.
• Conditional logicShow or hide fields, skip pages, and choose confirmation copy from answers. Rules stay attached to field ids when you reorder.
• Calculated fieldsRead-only totals, scores, and quotes from formulas such as {quantity} * {unit_price}. The server recomputes the value on submit.
• Multi-step formsInsert a page break to split a form into steps. Respondents move Next / Back. Preview and logic skip still work across pages.
• SignaturesDrawn or typed signatures with an audit trail owners can export. This is not legal advice.
• PDF exportExport selected or filtered submissions as PDF, or download one branded PDF per entry. Included on Free.
• File uploadsFile uploads with type and size limits on hosted forms.
• Ask AI in the builderChat-edit an existing form. The model returns a structured patch you can Apply, Discard, or Undo. Submissions are never sent to the AI.
• Builder PreviewWalk through the respondent form, including unsaved drafts, without publishing or storing a submission.
• Drag and drop fieldsDrag a field type onto an exact spot, drop beside a half-width field to pair half | half, reorder with a handle or keyboard, and undo without breaking logic.
• Guest AI builderGenerate and refine a form at /try without an account. The draft stays in this browser until you sign up to save it.
• Plans, limits, and usageWhat Free and Premium include, soft submission limits, AI allowances, and our published commitments.
• Founder price reservationUpgrade or reserve before January 31, 2027 to get $7.99/mo locked for life, even if you start on yearly.
• Sign inSign in with email and password. Request an email sign-in link. Continue with Google. Sign in with Microsoft. Apple sign-in is not available.

• Form theme designerPer-form presets, colors, allowlisted fonts, and density on every plan. Premium adds an optional logo or header image, saved themes you can reuse across forms, and custom CSS (sanitized and scoped).
• Share and Form ManagerDuplicate forms, tag and filter the Forms list, embed in WordPress with Custom HTML, share on social, and add internal entry comments.
• TrashDeleted forms stay in Trash for 30 days. Restore one to put it back on Forms.
• InsightsSee which forms get the most submissions, how they compare to the last period, a health score, and ideas to improve. Answers are never sent to AI.
• Field typesThe shipped builder palette: short text, long text, email, phone, number, dropdown, checkbox, radio, date, file upload, signature, star rating, name, time, website, consent, multi select, list, repeater, chained selects, address, page break, hidden, and calculation.
• WorkflowsAfter a submission, filter answers, email, reuse a webhook or integration, set status, or send the next form with a signed link.
• Start from a workflow templateApply Employee onboarding, Incident follow-up, or Application screen. A larger template gallery is not available yet.
• Approvals from emailApprovals from email are not available yet. When they ship, an approver opens a confirm page and chooses Approve or Reject.
• Waiting and remindersSend next form can set a deadline and a reminder. Delay steps that wait a set time or until a date field are not available yet.
• Entry statusesA workflow can set a short status label on the original entry. A status column, filter, CSV export, and entries API field are not available yet.
• Why didn't my workflow run?Read run history on the workflow. Test without sending and Retry are not available yet.
