Workflows on a form

A Workflows tab on each form is not available yet. When it ships, you add the sequence on that form instead of only from the account Workflows page.

When it ships

Open a form and choose Workflows. Start from a blank list or a template. The sequence starts when this form is submitted.

You can add:

  • If/else on an earlier answer.
  • A webhook you already added on the form.
  • An integration you already connected on the form.
  • An internal note on the entry.
  • A wait from 1 minute up to 30 days, or until a date on the entry. The wait is saved, so it is not lost if GRTforms restarts.

Templates on this tab only use those steps. They do not add email, approval, SMS, or Slack.

Test without sending

Test without sending is not available yet. When it ships on this tab, you pick a past submission and walk the saved steps. Webhooks, integrations, and notes are not sent. A wait is logged as a preview and the test continues.

Not on this tab

  • Email actions are not available yet.
  • Approvals from email are not available yet. See Approvals from email.
  • SMS and WhatsApp actions are not available yet.
  • Entry statuses that change the submissions list are not available yet. See Entry statuses.
