Research Participant Panel
Research
Build a standing research panel with industry, role, products they use, and how often they are willing to hear from you.
A panel that is just an email list becomes a spam folder. This template asks what they use and how often they will tolerate an invite so the next study starts from a filter, not a cold blast.
Who it is for
Research ops and product teams who want a reusable bench instead of recruiting from scratch every sprint.
When to use it
Use it as the standing opt-in. User Interview and Usability Test Signup are study-specific. Customer Advisory is a named council with a calendar. Newsletter Signup is not research consent.
What this form collects
Identity, industry, role, products used, invite cadence, method checkboxes, and optional constraints.
- In-app “join our research panel”
- Post-onboarding opt-in for new workspaces
- Customer-success handoff when someone loves talking

Frequently asked questions
Is this consent for every future study?
No. It is permission to invite. Each study should still explain the task and the incentive. Do not treat the panel as a blank check.
Can they leave?
Say how in the success copy. A panel without an exit is how you get angry no-shows.
Should employees join?
Usually no. Add a “I work here” radio after you clone it if you want a separate internal panel.
