Office Hours Booking
Scheduling
Let students or teammates reserve a short block with a topic, duration, and how they want to show up.
Office hours that run as a hallway line punish the person with a real question. This template asks who they need, how long, and the topic so the host can stack related conversations.
Who it is for
Faculty, advisors, and managers who publish hours but still triage by email.
When to use it
Use it when the host still confirms the block. Tutoring Session is a paid or scheduled lesson. Classroom Observation is a visit, not a 1:1. Interview Scheduling is hiring, not advising.

Frequently asked questions
Can someone request a standing weekly slot?
This form is one block. Put “standing” in the topic, or add a radio after you clone it if you actually grant recurring time.
What if the host is out that week?
Treat submissions as a queue. Decline and offer the next posted hours in the reply — the form does not know the host’s travel calendar.
Should this sit behind a course login?
If the public will spam it, yes. Many teams keep it public and ask for an institutional email so they can ignore the rest.
