Delivery Window
Scheduling
Retail & Sales · Food & Catering
Collect a delivery address, date, time window, and site notes before a truck is on the road.
A delivery that lands as “sometime Thursday” is how a truck idles in a loading zone. This template asks for a window, who receives, and how to get past the gate.
Who it is for
Ops teams, makers, and property staff who still schedule drops by email.
When to use it
Use it before the truck leaves. Maintenance Visit is a repair, not a drop. Mailing Address Update is a record change. Appointment Request is a person, not a pallet.
What this form collects
Recipient identity, address, optional access notes, date, arrival window, who receives, and optional contents notes.

Frequently asked questions
Does this reserve a truck?
No. Dispatch still assigns the route. The form is the request so the first call is not “what’s the gate code?”
Should the gate code be a required field?
Keep it in access notes unless every site has one. Required blank fields just get “n/a,” which is worse than optional.
What about a failed first attempt?
Send the same form again with a new date, or add a “this is a redelivery” checkbox after you clone it.
